Looking for a little diagnostic help on this one.
I have a T with almost 70k miles. The only major part to be replaced has been the stator and regulator. I also replaced the pistons/diaphrams and the carb insulators and fuel filter last year with great results. Now I feel a slight hesitation when I am cruising at speed. I can accelerate with gusto, and as I am still, I can hold my front break in and let out the clutch and there seems to be no slipping. I can hear no variation in engine speed at all - I can just feel a very slight hesitation when cruising at highway speeds in 5th gear or surface streets in 4th.
I have checked/adjusted the free play in the clutch lever and the spark plugs are light grey on the firing end. I did change a rear tire out last week, so I will also tear into that and make sure everything is tight, but I always double check myself as I reassemble, so I don't think that's it. I've also ridden a couple of hundred miles and if something was loose, I would have probably noticed by now.
Thanks,
Mike
