We thought we would take a drive(500 miles) in the mountains before the Hwy's close for the winter. We went up Hwy 120(highest road in CA. 9945') over to 395 and came back on 89 to 88 over to Lake Tahoe and back to Sac. on 80.

It was the perfect day for the drive and the "S" did not disappoint me, it handled the altitude great. It did not lose as much power as other cars I've drove in the mountains, it did much better than I thought it would. This car is the best handling car I've ever driven.
The top was down all day with the temp being in the 50's and low 60's for most of the day. It did get cold as the Sun came up(36*) but we were in the foothills at that time and taking it easy(going slow). The temperature climbed fast after the Sun came up and we had a gas!
I think with all the snow they will get this weekend Hwy's 120, 108 and 4 will not be open till late spring.
