At my wife's request and as part of her 61st birthday celebration, yesterday we attended the Dogwood Festival in Atlanta's Piedmont Park. Here's a picture of the happy sextigenarian enjoying the pleasant day in the Park.

The birthday girl wanted a shot of me too.

Besides the Dogwood Festival as a very large art show with hundreds of booths displaying the creations of so many artists there were three stages in various parts of this fairly large city park and rides as seen here.

There was also a small train ride and lots of inflatables for the kids to jump on and in.

Many were out loving the comfortable Spring weather.

This guy was officiating at the Southern Disc Dog Nationals.

The dogs and their owners were having a blast.

This one really has his eyes on that frisbee.

The same for this dog.

Another great catch.

One of the smaller contestents.

Part of Atlanta's skyline as seen from the Festival.
