Hi all... I'm selling my beautiful 1999 Honda Shadow ACE Tourer for $4,000 firm! I just re-joined the forum to offer my bike for sale; you can read my new member introduction here:

I briefly told the story of how I was given a Kawasaki Nomad 1500 by my father. I've finally decided that it's time to part with my beloved T. As you can see from the pictures below, this bike is cherry! I'm the third owner & never once had any problems with it. I purchased it in 2003 from an older gentleman who told me he had made 2 cross-country trips on it, and the original owner had made one. When I purchased it, it had approximately 18,000 miles; it now has about 22,000 miles. Most of my trips were either local or day trips. I'm a 52 y.o. professional with a Ph.D. in physics (so I'm not some knuckle-head who abuses his vehicles).
Most of the extras were put on by the previous owner, so forgive me if I don't get them all right: Cobra floorboards, Mustang seat with driver & passenger backrests, 3 Cobra racks: one on each bag, one on passenger backrest; chrome radiator cover, chrome headlight visor, crash bar with foot pegs, ornamental American Eagle head on front fender, chrome front fender trim, two-cone air horn (LOUD!!), leather tank pouch, additional LED brake lights, rear Honda mud flap, and chrome-tape wraps of cables (mildly faded, visible in pictures).
There are two upgrades I made: (1) a Cobra light bar, and (2) an audio amplifier & speakers. The Cobra lightbar was installed in such a way that the windshield can be removed. I used connectors on the electrical wires to facilitate that feature, as the lightbar feeds through the hole in the windshield. This came in handy when I lived in Missouri and the breeze made the hot Summers a bit more comfortable. (I thought the bike looked great without with windshield too!) This light bar looks sharp and significantly increases visibility.
The second addition I made was the sound system. In the pictures, you can see a black leather Harley pouch tucked behind the windshield on the left side; this holds the amp. The speakers are clearly visible on the handle bars. I don't recall the brand of the speakers or amp, but if you're really interested, I'll take the cover off the bike & look. (By the way, this bike has always been garage-stored with a cover.) The speakers are plenty loud. This system will work with anything that has a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack: radio, mp3 player, smart phone... The connector is tucked into the leather tank pouch which will easily fit any mp3 player and allows for easy access to the player while riding.
This bike is cherry & priced to sell. It hasn't been ridden much in the last two years, so you might consider some light maintenance (oil change, new plugs...). There's absolutely nothing wrong with this bike. With all the extras & the condition of this bike, my price is very firm. If you're interested, or know someone else who is, feel free to email me at: gwb.junk@gmail.com. All emails go to my smart phone & will be promptly returned. Include your phone number if you would like me to call you.
Thanks for checking out my post.
