I bought my lithium iron battery last July and this weekend I went on a overnight ride up to the mountains. The temp was 25* when we got up Saturday morning so I went out to see how that little battery would do in the cold(running Delo 400 LE 15w-40). I first turned the key on with my headlight on the high beam, then checked my oil and then went to start the bike. I hit the starter button for a little over 1 second then waited for 5 seconds and did that again. The third time I just let it crank over till it started and it only took maybe 2 to 3 seconds to fire it up and with the choke all the way on it idled just fine even at 25*. That little battery has started my bike better than any battery I've had in the bike in the last 13 years. It's hard to believe how fast that little battery turns over my T, with the oil hot the starter turns the engine over faster than the bike idles. Now if it will last 4 or 5 years then I'll know if I made a good choice for a battery.
