Wishing everyone Happy Holidays. I am really enjoying this bike. Jerry and I rode today (high about 57 degrees). We were trying out a new radio set-up. We installed a HH 38 WX St Cobra hand held CB radio that mounts on the handlebars of my T. He got it from Sierra.com. He won a Shoei helmet for me on e-bay at a good price and installed the microphone headset on sale at Wings and Things for $60. He has a built in CB on his Yamaha Venture, so he did not need to rig up a hand held. It works great. It will be fun to use in group rides. Some of the others we ride with have the capability and it helps to have the leader and the one pulling up the rear, communicating on long trips in bigger group rides. It will also come in handy when we go to Sturgis next August, especially if we loose each other in traffic or at the campground. The set up will be a good time for trips we are planning to Helen, Georgia and Gatlinburg, TN and Myrtle Beach, SC for the weekend. I can also try out carrying my own stuff in my hard bags for a change too. He always had to even carry my makeup and hairbrush. Not that you guys would understand, unless of course you take your wives or girlfriends two up. In the mean time, we will keep riding these mild weekends. Cant believe it is the end of December here in the mountains of Western North Carolina.
The radio work was reliable for distances of up to a mile or mile and a half, which is mainly what we will use it for. We are using the rechargeable AA batteries that are supposed to be good for about 20 hours. Mounting was easy, and we can move it to other bikes very quickly if need be. So far, its highly recommended.

Glad to see your enjoying the "T"!!!!!
