I'm sure you have noticed the number of posts in this forum has jumped up. The reason for this is that I moved all the threads from the Archived section
(General II and General III) back to the General forum and deleted the Archived section. With Yuku a forum can have unlimited topic pages. At EZB a forum was
allowed 20 pages then older threads would just disappear as new ones were added. That's why I started the Archived section when we were on EZB so I could
move topics before they disappeared. With the unlimited topic pages here at Yuku there isn't really a need for an Archived forum.

I also noticed a status box at the bottom of the index page that lists all the posting and membership counts. This may have been there on the old system, but I
never had noticed it before now. This Yuku thing is getting cooler by the day.

I too, am starting to enjoy this forum more and more. One of the things I missed was the list showing who was online. DUH! I finally scrolled down far enough that I found that it is still here, just at the bottom instead of the top!  I'm still missing about
300 post, but that ain't nuttin!

I still have not been able to get back on as "DanbGT".
I can post with that name, but not get on YUKU....or the forum, or where ever I am. I think it all sucks and ya'll are just complacient. Weenies....... -Dan (or maybe -Dann) |

I believe all you have to do is set your primary screen name. I explained how you can do that in a reply to your last post.
Dan, I don't know what to say about your feeling about this format. This is what all ezb's are going to in the near future. Let me or the yuku team help you work through your issues. You can list your complaints here or just send me an email or private message me. I want to make this as easy for you and all the other members as possible. "We want to be free... Skip, I also have alternate names that do not appear with a Switch To option, except among themselves. Perhaps they are on a different e-mail address &
password. For those three days when I was having trouble seeing the board and posting on the board I created 'fredrider' and 'Fred Reiter' Yuku
profiles. I was never able to post with either one of them, but I could switch back and forth between them. Three days after the transition when Yuku linked
the old EZBoard HSATF link with the new Yuku HSATF link and I could see the board again on my home computer, my old EZBoard 'Fredrider' profile became
available, although now it is listed as 'Fredrider--hondashadowacetourer'. I have been using that one ever since because I can post using that one and
in its profile my post count is correct. I have not tried to track down those other two profiles I made since. I am afraid to go mucking around too much. I
may get lost again.

You may on to something Fred. I'm working with Dave R right now to get a similar problem straightened out. He too has no other name to switch to.
As for the --hondashadowacetourer, it looks like all ezb local accounts migrated with that added to their screen name. "We want to be free... Free to ride our machines without being hassled by the man!" |
