Which Service Manual? Honda or Clymer? |

HI,
I just wondered which service manual to get. I found the Honda one for $45 and then a Clymer for $33. Which is better? Thanks for any info. Randy |

actually Clymer is only $26. But if Honda one is better I will get that.

Let's see. The facotry service manual that's used at the dealerships or an aftermaket one? As far as I'm concerned that's a no brainer. I
bought Honda's but only paid $25 for it on eBay. Unless you need it now, I'd be patient and look for it. Also, some members have it on cdrom and they
may be able to point out where to find that version.

I bought the factory manual, with all updates from a dealer who auctioned it on ebey. My total cost, including shipping , was $34.....If you keeep an eye out,

Definitely the factory Honda version is best in my book, but Clymer runs a close second. Both are better than Haynes by a long shot.

I'm about three years removed from my T, but at the time, only the Honda manual covered the T. I can say, the Honda manual is very accurate, step for
step. I recall jetting my carbs. It practically told me where the little spring landed.

I have the Honda factory manual as well and I am 100% happy with it. I have found that the book is so good that you can set the manual on the seat of the bike
and come back two hours later and everything is fixed. Bob
