I've been looking for the "perfect" bike for a couple of years. I've always liked Shadows; I owned a 750 a few years
back. Well, 3 days ago, I stumbled across the Tourer. After researching this sweet machine well into the night, I bought a '99 ACE Tourer the very next
day. So, after knowing about the Tourer for about 12 hours, I bought one - that's confidence! It was the same deal with my Border Collie pup as well. When
you know, you know...

Mattwix....welcome to our little corner of the internet from Upstate New York. Another Minnesota rider. We've got a few of you on here and one more is just great. I found your story about finding a Tourer an interesting one because I am in the process of looking for one myself. I have however been researching and reading and listening to these members of the forum talking about them for a few years now. You'll learn a lot by hanging around here. There's a ton of information in some of the old threads here and you have only to ask a question and you'll get more than one answer. This is also a great place to talk about anything else because we never just limit ourselves to just motorcycle chatter. I hope that you'll take the time to tell us more about yourself, your family and your past riding experiences. I'm looking forward to talking with you more in the future. alepel |

Welcome to the family, Mattwix. Took me a minute to realize that you had posted your intro. But then realized that it was in dark blue and so I just hi-lighted

Glad you found this little "hole-in-the-web". While it is mostly oriented toward the 'T', it is really a place for friends to gather regardless of what they ride.
