I have been wanting to remove the Mustang fender bib on my T and I have a question about the acorn nut that holds down the back end of the fender bib. If I
loosen the bolt to take the fender bib off, does the bolt fall out. Meaning does it fall down out of the fender onto the rear wheel? Or is it permantly afixed
to the fender.
I can find no way short of removing the rear wheel to ensure the bolt doesn't fall out. Skip I know that you have had the rear fender bib on and off a few times, so perhaps you could tell me if that bolt is permanently afixed to the fender. I just don't want the bolt to fall out and not have a way to put things back together.
Here is a picture of the fender bib I want to remove. The bolt is on the bib just above the brake light.
Can anyone help me with this question?
Thanks in advance for your help.
