Hey everyone. Bought a jade green/cream 1999 Tourer and took it on a 2600 mile road trip to try it out--LOVE IT!! Smooth ride and great engine. Looking
forward to talking with you. T

T S....welcome to the Forum from upstate New York.
It's not very often that we see a jade green & white Tourer on this Forum. Seeing yours causes me to stare because I don't think I ever truly appreciated this color combo before. Your bike is a beautiful example of looking good! I hope that you take the time to tell us more about yourself, your family, and previous riding experiences. We genuinely like to know more about our brothers. Looking forward to talking with you more in the future. alepel "Ride with the Spirit always, and in all ways"....hombldr |

Very handsome bike. Ditto, 2600 miles on a stock seat would be tough for me. Welcome to the forum. This is a great place to learn and share. Take care.

Are we growing like weeds, or what. Welcome TS from this old boy from north Alabama. Glad you found us a decided to stop by for a chat. The two color combos
that I would like to see in person are yours and the teal/creme versions. Every other color I have already seen.

You T owners must have some pretty tender butts. I just rode the entire "Ride the Rockies 2007" ride on my T with the stock seat, and boy was I ever
comfy, Of course, this is compared to the 420 mile loop I did 3 weeks ago when I was on my inflated "10 speed" which in the 21st. century has 27
speeds (see prior post: http://hondashadowacetourer.yuku.com/reply/50701/t/-2-wheels--petroleum-products-required----Aspen.html#reply-50701
).
BTW: I'm not quite sure of the official color names but I always thought my '98 was a Pearl Jade and Cream color with the '99 being either Forest or Olive Green and Cream, either way color name is better than my old Subaru "misty dawn" color name. Either way congratulations on a fine bike. I also got a very low mileage T (3680) only 15 months ago for a steal without a scratch and some nice Jardine add ons (garrumble), So clean that the local Honda dealer offered me a new bike 3 year extended warranty for which I said, "Why would I, it's a Honda".

I really like the green and white colors . My favorite is the teal and white though . I would trade my black and red tins for the teal and white in a second .
Those colors just remind me of the old days and T-Birds .

Old school is cool. Auggy, I used to never hesitate to ride long distances. Of course I was younger and it was before my hip replacement. 600-700 miles in a
day is about all I've done lately, but it was on a Mustang seat. Big difference over a stock seat. I haven't been to Denver in a while. I used to play
at the Bluegrass festival in Aurora. Last time I was in that neck of the woods my wife and I were in Colorado Springs to welcome my son home from Iraq.
