I'll be 65 in a few days, married, grandparrent & great grandparrent.. Bought a Shadow in May of this year(1100 ACE) to get back into riding and visit
the children. Retired electrician(43yrs), Nam vet, on my 4th marriage( nobody could be that hard headed). Bought my first ride at 14(in abunch of apple
boxes) for $15.00(46'HD), owned 8 rides since than and I hope this is the last. The bike is a 96 with 14,400 when bought, I put on 2300 on it so far,
it's in the garage until March or April.

Hi,
Glade you joined the Brotherhood, congrats on your age and still being able to ride, I hope to still do that at 65. The Shadow is an awsome motorcycle with an awsome look, plus it does not hurt the pocket as much as. If you have any questions there is a wealth of info here for you and everyone is welling to through their two cents in. Send us a PIC of your ride so we can check it out... NYMark99 |

Welcome Ben from Upstate New York and another Viet Nam Vet. Glad you found us here, we've been waiting for you. Jump in often with your opinions and if
you've got any questions, this is the place to bring them up. If you're computer savy, please insert a photo of your Shadow here in the members
non-tourer section.

Welcome to the family, Ben. I hope to be still riding when I'm your age (about 13 more years). When I was 14, I bought a Honda Super 90 that was in boxes
and milk crates for only 5 bucks. The guy had taken it apart to repaint everything a different color and could not finish the job. I put it all back together
as it was because the original paint was still good. I ended up trading it and a shotgun for a 1965 Honda 150 Dream.
