ACE T Fork Replacement |

Has any tried to swap the ACE T forks with the "upside down" fork design on other ACE models? If it works physically, it would give a very stout
appearance to the front end of the the ACE T and should look great.

Good question Jerry. I have always thought the front end of the T would look better with some beef up there. I hung a small leather tool type bag from the
front forks to "fill in" the weak area. I always thought the forks should have been turned upside down. Bob

I don't think any Shadows ever had inverted forks (I could be mistaken). Some have chrome shrouds but these tend to make it trickier to attach a
windshield, tho not impossible.

Take a look at the newer Sabre's forks.

. The lowers are the sliders just like they are on the T. Honda did a good job foolin' folks with the shrouds, eh?

I was thinking that Jerry was after the beefier look more than the actual physical function. If this is the case, then the shrouds can be bought for less than
a total fork swap. Of course either way you would have to purchase an after market windshield to fit the fork style. On a fork swap you would likely have to
buy the triple trees for them and do a lot of retrofitting to get everything else to work.

You meet the nicest people on a Honda (forum).
