Vinnie - First, I am insanely jealous - I love the color scheme of your bike. Don't get me wrong... mine is black and chrome and looks awesome, but for
some reason, I can't shake my like of the teal and creme or whatever it is called -
Also - I am in MN, and it is the dead of winter but we have had a HEATWAVE ! I think it got to 38 degrees farenheit toda (sorry, my celcius conversion is not working) - Anyways... if a person is mindful of the sand, salt an ice.... one can get out and do some cruising in this kind of weather. It never ceases to amaze me how in the Fall.... 50 degrees is cold but in the spring.... 38 degrees is cause to ride the bike or roll the windows down in the car and crank the tunes ! I guess I have a really bad case of sprin fever..... |

Vinnie.....I must agree with Marman. Their is something uniquely attractive about the teal and creme Tourers. Maybe it's because it was the very first
color combo I saw the very first time I saw a Tourer. I also happen to like the solo seat look on the Tourer, like yours.
Very nice looking bike. I hope that you enjoy many many miles on it.

That's one sweetheart of a T. Did you do those mods yourself, or was the bike that way when you got it? Do you have any more mods planned?

Marmon007 - Thank you. My brother (northernrider) had a black 2000 T, and it looked awesome. I really liked it. I haven't seen the
other colors personally, but when you see them on this site, there isn't one color that I don't like.
We've had -40 temperatures a couple of weeks ago. I didn't know that -40 C is the same as -40 farenheit. That was cold. When it reached -25, sounds ridiculous but that seemed warm. Oh, when will spring come. alepel - I find the corbin seat very comfortable. I had back surgery, and the stock seat just didn't feel good, so bought the corbin seat/backrest and am really happy with it. Chicago - I put the tank bib, highway bars/footpegs/seat,backrest on my bike. Previous owner had the handlebar grips, jardin rumblers - which I think have gotten louder after 2 years, floorboards (notice in picture the rubber is missing, lost it on a ride last year). Would like to get the front fender chrome tip, and from Santa (my brother) I got a chrome rad cover. That would be all the mods that I would like, well until maybe SANTA comes again. Thanks again everyone for your comments. |
