HSATF Member Posts: 49 04/11/08 11:40 AM	Tags : None Well I spent about 5 hours doing this Before Rear both sides now Front looked almost as bad to start, heres now Spokes are goin to get converted with a rust converter unless someone knows a way other than Naval Jely, Mothers, or Braso Man it has rained a lot here this year Saddlebags are some that belong to my son I'm borrowing till I can get new ones

HSATF 1st Officer Posts: 3539 04/11/08 6:50 PM	WD-40 and some fine steel wool will go a long way on them. Then follow up with Mothers Metal Polish in paste form, Turtle Wax Chrome polish, or Never Dull. The rest is just elbow grease and a lot of patience. When you get them like you want them, then be sure to give them a good coat of wax to help seal them from further corrosion. other than that you'll have to paint them or replace them.
