HSATF Member Posts: 13 04/17/08 6:51 PM	That is a beautiful bike.It reminds me of the bike I was thinking about before I bought my T.Here I go again.I was down in Union Town,Pa and I stpped at this little Yamaha dealer.I went in side and right at he end of the line there it was.A 2004 red vtx1800 with 7k worth of extras.I captured a pic on my phone and downloaded it to my laptop when I got home.This guy had about 17-18k in this thing and it only had 4k miles.I could not sleep for about a mo.It was still there the next time by but it was 10 degrees out.Good thing I was not able to ride.The moral of the story is you might as well go right to the top so you don't have to go thru all the withdrawl all the time when you see something like that.You can not beat that so you can sleep tight.This guy also had a gold wing.Im done. Don

Posts: 1509 04/23/08 8:55 PM	Picked the bike up Friday night and it rained all the way home! My enclosed trailer is set-up for the "T" and the Wing will not fit yet, so it was filthy when we got home. It rained Saturday too, so I had plenty of time to clean it back up. It finally cleared up Saturday evening and I got to ride a few miles. Sunday my wife and I rode with my son and his girlfriend for about 200 miles! WOW, it was FUN! To answer a few questions...........I bought the bike, used from a guy that was going to have to buy the family a boat. He had added over $4000 dollars worth of accessories. I bought it for way less than a stripped 08 would cost. It only had 4400 miles on it. The power of this beast is amazing! I am still very careful when turning and applying power. I have yet to stand on it while in 1st gear. I'll try and get some pictures up real soon! Later Rick P.S. Dawg2 had sold his "T" about a month ago and he was sick, so he has purchased my "T" and he is back in the saddle! The "BIKE" is why we came, The "PEOPLE" is why we stay!
