I was wondering if any of you guys could assist me with a query I have.
My ride is smooth and normal unless I am in 3rd gear twistin' the wick (throttling up). All other gears sound normal and as expected. Third gear is not making a tapping, scraping, rubbing sound or anything like that. It is more like a whirring that gets louder as you accelerate, but goes away instantly when you decelerate. I hope that it is something normal, but with my experience working on bikes this is not. She runs great and loses no power from the noise. It is just that the noise is there and I like my toys to working properly at all times. What ideas can you guys come up with? Anything would be helpful. Thanks!
