HSATF Road Captain Posts: 310 05/13/08 11:36 PM Second Officer	Tags : None Skip, Thought I'd better check in since I've been away for a while . I didn't get to ride much last season , damn doctors , but I'll be riding more this year . I had an experience last Sunday on a ride with a few freinds . After the ride one of the guy's had to take his Cobra ( replica ) to a nearby car show on Route 66 . I was following him and another guy on a BMW K1200S , on my Nomad,when we made a turn and I saw the rear end of the Cobra squat down . The Cobra ( 575 hp ) and the BMW launched like rockets and all of a sudden , no matter how much throttle I grabbed , I was just a spectator ! Kind of put's things in perspective . More like watching a movie . Take care Doug I'm glad to be here but.....where was I going ?

HSATF Road Captain Posts: 310 05/14/08 11:19 PM Second Officer	Alain I'm still taking the coumadin so my rides are more close to home and I'm wearing all the gear all the time these days . Skip I think that probably answers your question , unfortunately . At least for this riding season anyway . I'm still trying to get the doctors to put me on something besides coumadin . Bama , sorry the only ride I've made was Caldwell in 06' and you missed that one so we'll have to meet another time . Until then guys....enjoy the ride ! HSATF Road Captain Posts: 310 05/15/08 10:47 PM Second Officer	Well guys that's a thought . I'll throw it into the hopper with the wife and we'll see how it shakes out . Don't know if I can earn enough $$ between now and then to afford the premium the Solstice takes though . Regular is $ 3.93 around here now ! I'll check the dates for conflicts . We are going to the Red Bull Moto GP in Indy in September the second weekend in Sept. I'll do the research . Thanks for the idea Andy . Doug I'm glad to be here but.....where was I going ?

HSATF Road Captain Posts: 310 05/16/08 11:14 AM Second Officer	Fred, I'll give it my best shot . After I read thru the 6th Annual T Rally thread last night I came to the conclusion that it's the same weekend as the Moto GP in Indy which kind of screws things up. This morning , while getting out of the shower I was explaining it all to my wife . As I was going thru the scenario of ; take the bike and Solstice to Indy and leave the bike at some freinds so we could drive over to Clarksburg for dinner then drive back....... She gave me that look, you know the one . So I guess , for the time being anyway , I'll have to pass on the Clarksburg trip . Thanks for the idea though Andy . Later Doug I'm glad to be here but.....where was I going ?
