My T has a backrest like OldSwimmer's bike. http://hondashadowacetourer.yuku.com/topic/8939.
I've been looking for a chrome insert for mine. Anyone know where I can get one. I searched several sites but have only seen the ones with three mounting
holes. I have a Shadow emblem that I want to mount on the chrome piece. Any help is apreciated.

My backrest plate came Saturday but it was the wrong style. The picture on the web site looks like my backrest with two mounting bolts, however the one that
came had three mounting holes and a different shape...too big for my backrest. The p/n on the package and the installation instructions matched the part number
on the web site but like I said the part is wrong. The instruction sheet says it is for a Valkyrie only. I called their support line and got a RMA number to
send it back. Oh well...

First, I think Honda Directline is wrong about the plate only fitting the Valk. Maybe the one they sent only fits the Valk, but the one in their add says it fits a VT1100C Spirit,and the T uses the same back rest as the Spirit. OK..........let me steer you wrong again. LOL This source says that it will fit all Hondaline tall backrests with 2 holes. You should contact them before ordering this time to confirm that it will fit yours.
