Has anyone else seen this or maybe have one of them? I like it's simplicity and the fact that it is out of the way.

i think it would be a lot like dakota digital...hard to read, and i wouldn't be crazy about looking to the side and trying to read rpms on such a small
gauge. it does look cool though.

kcroadrocket wrote: Agreed....I saw this on another forum and the guy had mounted it to the triple tree by drilling a small hole for the wire and the gauge was glued (?) to the triple tree. The number of mounting positions are endless. I once installed a gear indicator on a column drop that was like this. Just a single Digit LED that could be placed anywhere as long as a hole was drilled for the wire coming out of the back.

Alain,
Is that a speedometer or a tachometer? The numbers were so low I was thinking it must read in Hz, not rpm.

Fredrider wrote: According to the ads it is a Tach. In the promo materials they say that you need to think of the dial as reading 2.0 is 2K, 2.1 is 2,100, 2.2 is 2,200 and so on.

Alain,
Oh, OK, I guess that makes more sense than planetary revolutions per month which was my second guess. I didn't know how accurate it is.

now i like that. i really miss the gear indicator the old bikes used to have, and of course it's always great to know how well you're bike is charging.
