Hi,
I'm a new member and have just begun to use this forum. Looks like a great forum!
Anyway, I recently purchased a '98 1100 Ace Tourer and I love it. But after a couple of rides I noticed that the right Cobra floorboard was loose. Upon closer inspection, it appears to be missing a mounting bracket. All it has are some long bolts with some sort of sleeve to run under the exhast header pipe. I called Cobra and they said that they will not sell me just the bracket because these boards have been discontinued. They have a few more sets in stock for a mere $300 or so. I have a hard time paying that when I already have the boards and all I need is one bracket.
What do you guys recommend? Is there an inexpensive set of boards that I could replace these with? Or maybe another option? Money is a little tight since I just bought the bike but I need to fix this before I can ride it anymore. Just looking for ideas. Thanks for any info.
