I have been looking for an after market exhaust for my 2000 T, but I am having trouble finding anything that actually fits the category. I want a low rumble,
nothing too loud but nice sounding, any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hard to beat a $14, 2 1/8" dia. bi-metal holesaw and about 20 minutes tops to make those stock pipes sound just the way you want. Just drill out the
little resonators from the end of the mufflers and your on happy street. You can find pictures and discussions on here. I have had my bike next to a T with
V&H pipes and like mine better.

Well I personally like my V&H but I believe that what you are looking for is drilling out the resonators like Jim said. I would say try drilling them out
and if you don't like them then you can replace them with Jardines or the whole system with V&H.

Thanks for the info. I think I will try the drill out, what could it hurt?

The only instructions I'm finding are for drilling holes in the baffles and that does not sound like what you are describing., Can you give me a quick
lesson on how this is done?

This is what a 2 1/8" hole saw hole in the mufflers looks like.
