I had a great time...was excited to meet all the folks......the new folks & those that hadn't been to a rally since I started coming 4 years ago. AND it was great to see old friends (which, by the way, those of you we met this weekend are now on the list of "old friends". )

This comment really has me thinking and laughing to my self in the good natured manner I think it was intended. Those of us who have been to a number of these rallies often talk about a fast group and a slow group. The fast group lead by Fred and the slow by Brian (I ride with the slow). Truth be told the slow group rides darn fast too, which I guess makes the fast group *@$%# fast. A lot of us ride these cruisers more like sport tourers. The tourer is a great flexible bike; it is just as happy cruising as it is getting thrown around. I hope no one was put off by the spirited riding, we are happy to have the "cruisers" too.

I think riding with (OK actually behind) this group in the mountains improved my riding skills. I am no where near the level of you guys but I definitely feel more comfortable in curves now.
